MJB Wood Group, LLC is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Production Controller to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to lead production optimization and continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

·         Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma methodologies and automation to boost production efficiency.

·         Oversee capital equipment projects, focusing on increasing yield, reducing downtime, and optimizing output.

·         Drive sustainability efforts, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and better material utilization.

·         Mentor cross-functional teams (transportation, manufacturing, and sales) in Lean Six Sigma, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making.

·         Utilize ERP systems and real-time reporting to optimize inventory management and streamline decision-making.

·         Oversee integration of AutoCAD and 3D modeling tools for facility planning and machine layouts.

·         Implement CNC machine automation upgrades and improve material movement for safety and efficiency.

·         Develop scalable production strategies that align with company growth objectives.

·         Conduct cost analyses to optimize operational spending and capital investment decisions.

·         Establish incentive and bonus programs to drive workforce performance and operational efficiency.

·         Manage factory layout improvements using AutoCAD and simulation tools to maximize throughput.

·         Train employees on new ERP systems and real-time analytics tools.

·         Implement 5S methodologies to enhance tool management, storage, and accountability.

·         Foster collaboration across production, engineering, and operational teams to achieve continuous improvement goals.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Robotics Engineering.

·         At least 2 years of experience with manufacturing and design tools (AutoCAD, Visio, and SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor); ERP and data analytics (Ramco ERP, Power BI or Tableau); programming (Python or Azure); cost analysis; and optimizing factory layouts/waste reduction programs, including 1 year using WoodWop.

·         Six Sigma Green Belt certification is required.

·         Candidate may work remotely but must be willing to travel up to 25% to plant facilities in Indiana, Texas, South Carolina, Arkansas, and Alabama.
